Centro staff is available to provide assistance in understanding complicated situations and to help you navigate the immigration and social services agencies.

If you are confused, worried, or simply afraid of getting it wrong, our staff can help put you on the right track.

Our immigration services include:

U.S. Citizenship (Naturalization) applications
Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) renewals
Temporary Protected Status (TPS) applications and renewals
DACA renewals
Limited family-based immigration petitions (Form I-130), when appropriate
Assistance completing required forms and assembling supporting documentation
General information regarding the filing process
Referrals to qualified immigration attorneys and nonprofit legal organizations including asylum, removal defense, and new permanent residency applications

Centro does not provide legal advice or legal representation.

Legal Document Assistance:

Centro provides nonattorney legal document preparation assistance for certain civil matters. Staff assist clients in completing forms at the client’s direction, but do not provide legal advice.

Services may include:

Divorce document preparation
Child custody and child support forms
Spousal support forms
Small Claims Court paperwork
Restraining order forms
State Disability Insurance (SDI) forms
Notary Public services
Written English-Spanish translation services
Referrals to Legal Aid and other qualified legal professionals when legal advice or representation is needed

Centro connects individuals and families with programs and resources that promote stability and self-sufficiency, including:

Public benefits application assistance
Social Security and medical benefit forms
Food distribution assistance
Translation and interpretation services
Information and referrals to community resources
Veteran resource referrals
Medical and behavioral health referrals
Housing and community resource referrals
